That is of course logical...
but I had no 3rd party drivers of any type installed.
The Vista installation was fresh and nothing at all was done to it.
I tried applying SP1 immediately after Vista's initial bootup.
Interestingly enough, though I never would have even tried Vista Starter...
from what I saw of it ...it appeared to be a perfectly good system.
