Installed SP!. Had to go to work. Let it do it;s thing. Cam home,
computer in standby, pushed button, upcame display. Right clicked on
computer icon for properties. Damned rotating circle! After a while
proprties did come up but nothing else would work. Had to power off
via power button and power up again.

I still think this is a piece of c-rap.

Frank will be by soon to help you. He's the self appointed moderator and
Visa expert of this group. As he stalks me, he will be along soon in his
usual charming manner.

If you find his help to be unsatisfactory, you might want to consider
moving to an Open Source operating system and ditch Vista. Check out
Ubuntu at http://www.ubuntu.com/. It's free and comes with access to
over 25,000 free programs.

Issues like this are almost entirely caused by device drivers. Which are
outside of Microsoft's control, if you've got anything plugged into the
computer, try taking it out and testing it. Try checking in the event logs
for any clues as to which driver is the problem.
