still problems

still having problem's downloading updates, i did what they said to and
downloaded the script, and still nothing it's still greyed out on the
window's updates, is their any other problem to this solution,

No one will know what you are talking about. When you start a thread,
please post all subsequent replies to that same thread, don't start a new
thread (topic) as the new thread has none of the information included in

after you have posted about the same problem, what 5 or 6 times now? i know
exaxtly what you are talking about b/c i have been searching this forum for
literally weeks trying to find a solution to this damn problem!i have seen a
hundred posts from a thousand people about having this same problem, and as
of yet, no one has received a valid permanent solution to the problem! isn't
there anyone out there that can remedy the situation? i have tried updating
i.e (already using the current version), and the i.e. patches didn't work
either, tried updating the scripts (no change), updating my registry (nada),
configuring and reconfiguring auto updates (still nothing), i have never had
any kind of ''zone alarm" program on my computer, and ivee, as much as
appreciate your help, ther is nothing whatsoever on the "Windows Update
knowledgebase articles for Windows XP" page that is remotely applicable, so
please, PLEASE, don't try to send us all there AGAIN!
there must be someone out there that has a clue!! i will kiss the ground you
walk on if you can get my computer updated!!!
