still settings problems

thank you for your help. I now have audio again and it seems to be working
like before but I am still having big problems with my settings. When trying
to adjust display settings there is only one monitor option and only default
settings available. I can't get the high resolution that makes everything
look good and sharp like before. The options just aren't there even under
advanced settings. How do I get my previous settings and options back?

You have to download and install the latest video drivers..

Download this utility which will help you to identify the various elements
of your computer and determine the video adapter make..
