I got this message after installing SP2 on XP. I followed the You Receive a
"Stop.... help page from Microsoft and got it up to the part where you boot
into recovery console safe mode. The next step i assume from the directions
is uninstall SP2. I tried add/remove programs and it gets to the part where
it examins my configuration and it has been running for 24+ hrs at this step.
My HD access light blinks a little, but from what i can tell it is hardly
doing anything. I am still able to move windows and Open other things.
Is the uninstall supposted to take this long?
If any one has seen anything or know about it please help.
