Hi,

I was running with the same hardware for weeks, on a newly built
computer, without having any problems...

I suddenly started to get blue screens, and when investigating the
event viewer from safe mode, i found the following >

General> The hardware has reported an uncorrectable memory error
Log Name> System
Source> Application Popup
EventID> 1801
Qualifiers> 49152

I removed 1 of the 4 modules of 1Gb modules i had, and a while after i
had another blue screen, i removed another and got the blue screen
immediately after login on to the system.

Will keep the post updated to let you know about the resolution.

Regards

Hey,

this is usuall an issue with the BIOS.
Take care to upgrade to the latest available version.
If your BIOS is up-to-date run the memory diagnostic tool during start-up
(press F8 on start-up).
If it is really a memory problem (very unlikely) it will be detected.
