It's the Michael Myers of updates. You Hide (kill) it and it keeps
reapperaring.
OK, enough jokes. Each time there's a *new* release of Silverlight it
will appear again, no matter how many times it's hidden.
I hid it 3 times last Friday and so far, it's stayed hidden.
Since Adobe has done such a *poor* job of keeping Flash secure, they've
opened the door to competition. Flash is now the Typhoid Mary of the
Internet.
If Microsoft wants folks to install Silverlight there has to be a much
better way of convincing them rather than to keep bringing "Michael
Myers" back from the dead. <w>
Perhaps a Silverlight presentation that does not require it's
installation ? ... just a thought.
