Stopping Automatic Opening of Video Chat

Every time someone tries to connect by video chatting with me, my WLM
installation automatically answers/opens.

How do I uncheck this option?

This isn't a feature of just Messenger, but it is a feature of Messenger Plus Live. To turn
it off, open up the main Messenger window/contact list, press the Alt key on the keyboard to
bring up the menu bar, click the Plus! menu, and then Preferences & Options.

Choose the Conversations tab, and uncheck the 'Automatically accept requests by default' at
the bottom. Alternatively you can set it to do file transfers only, which is really nice to
have.
