Strange date on Patch MS05-027 (896422)

Hello, I have 16 Windows 2003 servers. Most are HP (Compaq), but 3 are not.
After installing the above referenced patch I checked the file srv.sys on all
servers. The modified date, version, size, etc. is the same on all servers
and corresponds to the information listed by Microsoft. However, on all the
HP (Compaq) boxes the File creation date is listed as Monday, December 31,
1979 at 07:00 PM (-6 UTC). On the 3 non HP servers the creation date is
listed as March 2003.

Any idea why the file creation date would be shown as 1979? The servers seem
to be functioning okay it just looks odd to have a file created before Window
itself was created!

It just means that the field used to represent the date is null (e.g. all binary zeros).
The hour probably just represents your time zone difference.
