strange little waves appear on Vista Desktop

Something strange happens on my Vista Ultimate Desktop. Sometimes, apparently
without no reasons, "little waves" show on my Desktop. You can see an example
at http://www.wineshop.it/images/little_waves.jpg. If I refresh the desktop
they disappear. I am using an NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS video card. After I
updated the card driver this problem occurs less often, but still it happens.

Does it happen also to you? Any idea?

Hi Lucia,

I get some unwanted artifacts on my desktop too when I am running Dreamscene
with an nVidia 7900GTX so I think it is a problem with the still primitive
drivers. Hopefully nVidia will correct this and numerous other driver
issues in future updates.
