Strange Problem with Flash (V6-8) and Nested Tables

On the Preview Beta 2 I find that the sIFR headlines generated by our site
builder no longer work.

I tracked down the code and simplified it as much as possible into the
following test case which works with Firefox, Safari and Opera, IE 6 but in
the one case, as you will see, fails with IE7.

The url is :

http://support.sitemagix.com/ie7_sifr.html

One big clue. If I change the doctype to HTML 4.01 rather than the XHTML
Transitional one in the url above it works fine. So this seems to be an
issue with the strict mode.

If there is something wrong with the code then I guess I have just been
looking at it too long because I can't spot it.

I've checked this on a recent build of IE7 and it works fine. The stylized
"Your Headline Goes Here" appears beautfully.

Just to confirm, does the 'Your Headline Goes Here' appear twice (notably
after the text "In IE7 this outputs nothing") ? ?

Oddly enough I downloaded the IE7 on March 20th which I though was the
latest version.

Thanks.
