You cannot disable systemwide services on a per-user base - simply
impossible.
You can change desktop-settings,restrict controlpanel items and so forth.
But once you go on to disable the underpinnings of the OS, it will affect
every User, Administrator included.
Note that this is not a Microsoft problem but a general OS-design issue. Mac
OS X and Linux included.
If you need a special tweaked OS then go with it and use it for all
purposes.
If you also need a OS with all the bells and whistles : install a second OS
on a seperate partition, so you can boot either into the limited one or in
the full blown.
This scenario of two OS on one PC would require a second Vista license of
course.
On the other hand I wonder why someone with a 6GB Ram machine needs to tweak
it ?
I have 4GB and Vista32 or Vista64 both run ok with leaving everything as is.
The only special attention for the 64bit OS is the JPG-Bug which causes high
CPU-usage, but you can ask Microsoft for the hotfix and then it is cured
from that disease.
