Stuck in the middle of an update

I am running Vista and this morning it told me I had three updates available.
(Updaet for Vista, Malicious Software Removal Tool, and Update for Outlook
2007) I downloaded them (might have been interrupted) but then it gave me
the normal exclamation mark under the start menu where it installs your
updates and shuts down. I chose this and three hours later it still said
installing 1 of 1. Finally I just restarted and tried again but it gets no
where. If I try and do it with the computer on it stays at 0% I can't open
any office program (it jsut frezzes explorer) or open any attachment from
outlook. This is the last bit of my log. Any help would be greatly
appreciated as I am at a standstill right now without Office.
