Stuck in Windows Classic Mode

Hello all, my problem is that my appearance settings are stuck in windows
classic mode. One day I turned on my computer to find it was in classic mode,
so naturally i clicked my desktop went to properties and clicked the windows
and buttons bar, and to my amazment ONLY windows classic came down (until
recently I had XP, and Media Center Edition) what do I do?

Hi there,

Your reporting a non windows update issue: so you are posting in the wrong
group.

go to control panel than taskbar and startmenu, open it click start menu on
top and choose start menu instead of classic start menu. apply ok and all
should be fine.

hi, go to control panel then click performance and maintenance then click
administrative tools then click services then find a file called theames
dubble click it then change the (startup type) box to automatic click apply
then click start then click ok and then try to change the style.
