This maybe a dumb question but I have yet to find the answer. I
purchased a new HP Compaq CQ50 Lap Top. In the Welcome window, there are
afew subscription services icons to like NetZero, etc etc. I'd like to
remove these icons and bloatware from the computor. I got some of the
bloatware removed but not all. Any help? Suggestions? Thanx in advance.

Those icons are usually removed when you uninstall the trial garbage from
Program & Features. If for some reason the trials don't appear there,
right-click on the Start Orb and choose Open All Users. You will see the
icons there and can delete them. You will need to OK/authenticate through
the UAC prompts.

Thank you! Helped alot. Being new to Vista from the Win95, 98, XP,
generation. This new OS is a real screamer it tailoring to my likes.
Talk about search and destroy on a computor. HP hasn't made it any
easier. Thanx again!
