Hey,
Ive had this problem for a while now. I play any game, it runs fine, then
after 30 - 40mins the framrate drops to about 10-15 fps and stays there,
untill i completely restart the comp. Any ideas?
All drivers up to date, defragged many times, no virus\spyware, all
background programs including AV closed etc. Only exception is that the SiS
AGP drivers are only compatible up to XP - there arent any Vista ones...but
to my knowledge that doesnt tend to cause such problems?
Incidently the problem occured shortly after changing from an ATI to NVIDIA
card...but i have thoroughly whiped ATI drivers off... :/

3.2 ghz
2gb RAM
Sound blaster audigy

Check and see if this might be part of the issue.

Probably not but worth checking.

Your problem sounds like a bug in the SiS drivers. Try to find Vista
drivers, and if they are not available, look into getting a new Video card.
ATI and NVidia are the most mature when it comes to drivers for Vista and
Performance in games.

You can get a very capable but low end Geforce 6600-6800 range video card
for around $40 now, and can probably find deals on this generation of cards
that are being liquidated or even the GeforceFX 5xxx series for peanuts, and
they all offer Aero Glass if you have premium, in addition to having more
mature Vista drivers.
