Suddenly new windows open in IE

I hxve changed NOTHING !! Honestly !! Now whenever I click on a
link in IE or read a story in an online paper, a new window tag
appears at the top of the already open page and I have to click on
that index tab to see the new page....

Any hints????????

You need to disable tabbed browsing for links.
