suddenly uable to logon to windows live messenger. Was ok this morning

I can now only logo by using the light version and I'm getting the folowing
errors in the windows status bar excalmation icon.

Greetings,

I'm assume you mean Windows Live Mail and not Messenger.

You may want to try clearing your cache and cookies (Tools menu, Internet Options, Delete
Files button and/or Delete Cookies, it's different in the various versions) and additionally,
shut down any third-party "security" like applications which might be preventing Javascript
from working properly.
