A Suggestion for Microsoft

I have a few suggestions for Microsoft:

1. Get forums that are easy to use (lol, for 20 min. I was clicking the "new
thread image" until I realized.)

2. Get working help and support links for vista (mine always say "this page
does not exist"

3. Not lock peoples computers after a amount of days (to me that does not
make sense, people should be able to get to there computer)

4. I like the online support thing where you talk one on one with someone,
but the system you are using for that on Microsoft is complicated and hard to
follow. You should also add more sections of support. There were very few
sections you could choose from on the online support list.

5. Update your purchase system, when I tried to pay with visa it didn't
work, i had to use American Express when buying vista electric download.

Other then that it is all great!

A few comments:

These are peer support groups where help comes from other users like
yourself. Anyone in any official capacity at Microsoft is unlikely to read
them.

Try using a newsreader rather than the web forum. Click on this link to
start:

They work fine, there is something on your system interfering with them.
Possibly your AV software.

They only get locked if the user doesn't activate the installation within
the required 30 day time frame. It's their computer, but it's Microsoft's
operating system. They can use an alternate solution like one of the many
linux iterations if they don't want to activate their Vista installation.

Can't comment on 4 and 5.

They also can get locked out after three days after doing a mere driver
change and not reactivating, thanks to MS tying PA to values that can be
changed by drivers.

The OP has a point. People should not be locked out of their computers
based on this flawed from its very core DRM scam called PA.

My suggestion; use a newsreader like Windows Mail.

It is a *newsgroup* not a web forum.
