Dear Messenger team,

As of Windows Live Messenger you are able to set a nickname for your
contacts.
It would be very nice to be able to set a nickname, and after that also
display the original name of the contact.

I hope something like this would possible in the (near)future

Greetrings,

Robin Harmsen

Hello,

I agree with this too.

Is there any way of getting the original name of the contact short of
removing the nick name?

Hi,

Not that I know of -- with the exception of if you have Messenger Plus! installed, it's
"Contact Information" dialog will show you.
