Microsoft knows that they blundered badly with the monster called vista..
too much bloat
and everything is slow.. and thats why they are trying to get windows on a
diet..
I dont understand why the vista fan boys dont acknowledge this.. oh perhaps
because they are stupid?

Wouldn't it be simpler for you to use something else, or are YOU
stupid? For the record, Vista runs just fine on my box, much moreso
than XPro ever did. If you can't afford to kit-out a new rig just stay
with last gen, and keep you whining to youself. BTW, I find it weird
that you'd take MS's word for anything in terms of the future,
considering how damaged you are by Vista.

I don't remember that at all. I did literally hundreds
of 3.11->95 upgrades and they were almost universally flawless, and
a big improvement as well. 95 will run on a 486/33 and 8 MB of ram,
weak even by 95 standards when most folks were at the Pentium level.

Contrast with Vista: core hardware upgrades are required for
most installs.

>Now after 3.11 on 6 FDD's that was bloat.

Lol. SunOS came on ummm 43? 45? floppies... The 13 or 14
you needed for 95 (or was it 16? whatever) seemed tiny :-) Anyway,
everyone had a cd so they could play Quake.

I am not against operating systems getting bigger..

I want them to get bigger but better...

not bigger and worse!

LOL vista has gotten 10 times bigger and actually nothing of real value has
been added..
rather a trillion things that are CRAP have been either changed or added and
good things removed..

vista is a disaster of design

Would suggest you take your own advice.
