Hi ,

I guess this is one of the most common problem users having with their
windows mobile devices.

On the previous versions of windows mobile , there a was tool , still there
is , which disables the certification validation check.

If you are interested link is here :

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

On windows mobile 6.5 there is no such a thing. At least i couldn't find
one..

My device is HTC HD2 which is a really good device and my exchange server is
2003 with sp2 and push enabled (correctly configured as the host name
corresponding with my certificate. The only thing is it's not digitally
signed.

Support code is : 0x80072F0D - The security certificate is not valid....

Now here comes the strangest part :

When i set my device to receive mails within 5 minutes of intervals it does
not go ahead and receive the mails. But when i push SYNC NOW it goes ,
checks and receives..I'm talkign about the button SYNC under ActiveSync...

If it's not possible :

What i need if there is no permanent solution (except getting a digital
certificate signed by verisign or whatever) i need a workaround like some
kind of tool to go ahead and press sync now button every 5 minutes. I can
write on my own but i don't know what is triggered behind when you press
sync button.

Could someone please help me to figure out a solution for this.

Thanks & Regards,

Sarper Sarıdal

Can't you create your own cert and then add the root cert to your device,
per http://support.microsoft.com/kb/915840/en-us?
