Hi
Does anyone know when microsoft will totally stop issuing updates for XP.
Have heard its 2 years from now which is a bit unfair for those who have
only just purchased PC with XP installed
My nephew is considering bying PC but not sure whether to go for XP or Vista
Any advice appreciated
Jill

Yep, it's confusing.

Support ends either 12 or 24 months after the next service pack releases or
at the end of the product's support lifecycle, whichever comes first. SP3 is
due in 2008 (but this could change).

This explains the mainstream and extended support

First, I went to post a question to this web site, and I clicked on "new"
then "question" and no box to send a message came up. I turned off pop-up
blocker and still no box like this appeared. So I had to use the reply
function.

Now as to my question, after I installed my latest XP update, every time I
turn on my computer I get the following message:
The procedure entry point GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in
the "dynamic link library PSAPI.DLL"
how do I stop this?
Rick
