SUS and Automatic Updates Detection Cycle

Hi - just a question out of curiousity. I've read (and experienced) that an
AU client will check its SUS for new updates approx. every 17-22 hours.
Assuming I already know about the /detectnow switch to wuauclt and also
understand the consequences of making this interval shorter, I was wondering
if this cycle is at all configurable in any other way? Apologize if this
specific question has been asked prior, but I haven't found it yet! Thanks!

"DaveC",

I do want to help, this seems to be more of a WSUS question. Please repost this
question to the following newsgroup, as they are likely to have more experience
with this issue and can get you an answer much faster.

microsoft.public.softwareupdatesvcs

Sincerely,

has been reposted.
