SUS and Windows Update

We have SUS installed and with computers in AD it works fine.

SUS for computers not in AD is enabled with a registry entry. But with these
computers Windows Update seems to be still active as computers are trying to
access Windows Update site on port 80.

How can we disable Windows Update and these queries? We don't want all our
computers in AD. `

Any help from WSUS? We are installing it later on.
