Hi
SP1/2 for WinXP and SP3/4 for Win2k installs the WU/SUS client as
default, and the separate WU/SUS client (WUAU22.msi) is not needed and
will not install (it gives the misleading error message that you
mention if you try). So, if you have WinXP SP1/2 and/or Win2k SP3/4
clients, the only thing you need to do is to configure them to point
to your SUS server to get started.
