SUS updates and patch alway re-offered

Hello all

I currently work on a SUS Server wich seems to have lost reason.
Always offer same patches (especially for IE6.0, XP clients) even if
they have already been installed, try to dispatch 2003 server hotfixes
on 2000 servers...

Any clue?

You need to unapprove all older IE updates at the SUS server (see list
below).

A shortcoming with the current SUS version is that it does not
handle superseding automatically, you must unapprove any
superseded patches yourself.
