SVC Host Application Error

      10-21-2009
I just uninstalled Macaffe Suite and Installed Windows One Care and now I'm
getting the following error at start-up. SVC Host Application Error The
instruction at "0x7c91b21g" Referred memory at "0x00000010" The memory could
not be written. I can't figure out how th get rid of it. Any suggestions???

You would most likely do better in a general Windows group or a McAfee
support forum (on their site).

Anyway, what I would try is to locate a McAfee uninstaller on their site
and use it to properly uninstall McAfee. You might have to reinstall McAfee
first to make the uninstaller work satisfactorily, but maybe not.

They might not have a program, but they might have a set of instructions.

In addition to what Gene said, you might want to consider using Security
Essentials from MS instead of One Care. Security Essentials is a free
product that has garnered very good reviews and is the replacement for MS
One Care (which has not been sold retail since last Summer).
