svchost at 100 %, hotfix doesn't work

CPU sticks at 100% when Windows Update begins, rendering computer useless.
Tried using hotfix 927891, even tho I have Vista. When I try to download it,
it says there is not enough storage available to process the installation.
Nothing works! The only thing I can do is disable automatic updating for
now. Help!

Although after reading your other posts, I realized that if I had turned
updating back on now I would see that the problem has been resolved. Must
have been the CA Antivirus conflict. It seems to work now.
