Mixed XP and 2000 enviroment, just recently added the xp pc's.
Svchost.exe & Wuauclt.exe are taking up 100% of the pc process, and it seems
the only thing to do is just let it run for 30-60 minutes, as if you kill the
process it just comes back.
Currenlty using SMS to push out updates, and a GPO is in place that has Auto
Updates disabled.
Any one have any suggestions on this, or run across the problem. I have
seen a lot that says to turn off auto updates, but we already have them off,
so wuauclt should not be running.
Also, this doesn't appear to be a problem with our 2000 pc's, just are xp's.
