Sync Error out of date appointments

Can anyone please help me out. I have been successfully wirelessly syncing
my ipaq H5550 with my PC for months now with no problems.

This week it suddenly decided it won't play ball anymore.

I've deleted the partnership and started again, tried syncing inbox alone
then adding items one at a time but no joy.
It syncs fine on the desktop stand, just won't do it wirelessly. It goes
though the process of syncing then say there are unresolved items (its done
this with inbox and calendar), then it just sits there, green light spinning
until after a short while gives an error message saying that it could not
get info on out of date appointments from the mobile device.

I've tried following some solutions on similar post but still no luck. I
looked up two log file mentioned and they give the following info:

Hello Raj,

No I don't believe I have those but I do have "pepocket2003_67" which is a
file explorer which also navigates to my network so I can view files on my
PC, do you think this is linked?

Kind Regards

David

Hi David,

I am not absolutely certain but they might be linked. Have you mapped any
particular drive on the network?? If yes, then try to unmap it and then
attempt to synchronize. You can refer the Users Guide provided with the
application for the steps since I have yet to use it and am not in a
position to provide it myself. See if this helps solve the recurring
problem.

Good luck !!

Raj,

You are a Superstar.
Disconnected Network drive and bingo, worked first time, wish I'd known that
before, would have saved me the misery of all this messing around deleting
partnerships etc.

Thanks for the great advice.

By the way, is this a normal thing or is it a fault? If its a fault I can
contact PE to see what they say.

Thanks again

David

Hi David,

I am very glad your problem is solved and thank you for replying back since
this information will certainly help others in future who face similar
problems. Hard to say whether its a normal thing or a fault. Is this the
first time you are facing this unique problem? If yes, did your device ever
lose its partnership information at any point of time?

Either way, you can alway try contacting PE and see what they have to say
about it. Do keep us posted if you hear from them. ;-)

Good luck and have a great day ahead !!

Raj
