Hi,
ok, more generally I need to create items in Inbox (or in other Email
folder) on my Smartphone device. However I do not want to create and send
the email. What I want is to create something like "Post item" exactly like
in MS Office Outlook (File - New - Post in This Folder). Simply - want to
create an item that has some subject, some body and optinally some
attachments that I can save to my Inbox folder fo further processing.
Now I'm in the situation that I have created a small application that allows
me to create and save such item to Inbox folder on my device. The only
problem is that such items are never synchronized to my PC.
In my previous post I have found that the behavior is the same as when I
create new message, save it to drafts and then move it to inbox folder. So
the problem with synchronization is not in aplication I have developed
because items created by original applications works in the same way.
I have found this article:
http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/raj/Inbox.html - here
You can read that email messages are synchronized only from PC to device
(except the outbox and deleting items on device). However this article
describes old version of ActiveSync (it is from 2004). So my question is
very simple - does anybody know whether it is possible to solve my problem
with current version of ActiveSync (or Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1.6965
respectively)? Or does anybody know whether there will be a new version that
allows that? When it will be available?
Thanks
George
