I keep my outlook files on a portable hard drive so I can carry them between
home and the office. Right now I sync my PPC at home over the USB cable. But
I just got bluetooth for my office computer and I want to know if I can sync
with the same outlook data files when they are plugged into the office PC.
Or will that confuse ActiveSync 3.8?

but i will basically be syncing to two different computers, even though the
outlook data will be the same. so will that be seen by the PPC as two
different partnerships? will they have different names? will the PPC
recognize the emails moved to the second PC as the same ones or will it make
copies of everything?

It will be seen as two different partnerships. Partnerships are named
according to the device name. You can only synchronize the Inbox with
one computer - not the other.
