Hello

Please help with me with a synchronization issue with my HP IPAQ 5550. I
used to sync the IPAQ with my Evo N620c laptop and my exchange server with
no problems. Then I had to reset my IPAQ to fix something. Ever since I have
reset my IPAQ, it is able to sync with the laptop but not with the exchange
server. It gives an error a few seconds after it starts, it says
"Synchornization failed due to communication error, Error code
INTERNET_152". Nothing has changed from my home wirless connvectivity side
or the exchange server side. I uninstalled and reinstalled Activsycn 3.8 on
my laptop but same issue. I also tried it with another laptop and same
issue. I even tried using an ethernet connection, same issue. So definitely
something went wrong with my IPAQ after the reset. Can someone please let me
know how to fix this, I badly need my calendar items from the exchange
server updated on my IPAQ and vice-versa..

Thanks in advance..

Regards

According to Microsoft (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/330465/en-us),
INTERNET_152 indicates a communications failure. ActiveSync has
nothing to do with Server ActiveSync - it merely acts as a passthrough
for traffic. Did you install a firewall in between the time it worked
and the time it didn't? If you can, try another hard reset and see if
that helps as well.

could it be that Your Exchange Server credentials (Domain, username,
password) are wrong?

Are you using the FQDN of the server (ie myserver.mycompany.com and
not just myserver)?

Are there any error messages in the log files on the server? You may
also want to ask your question in the
microsoft.public.exchange.mobility newsgroup.

For those trying to sync WM5 with Exchange 2003, I solved the 85010014 by
enabling Integrated Windows Authentication under the virtual folder called
"Exchange" in IIS...

1) Log onto the Exchange server
2) Open IIS
3) Goto the "Exchange" virtual folder -> right-click -> click on "Properties"
4) Click on "Directory Security" tab
5) Click "Edit" (under Authentication and access control)
6) Enable "Integrated Windows Authentication"

Hope this helps.
