Sync_5 when message is deleted.

My boss is using a Samsung i730, whenever he deletes an e-mail on the phone,
it can't sync with the exchange server. It spits out the sync_5 message.
However, someone else has a brand new pocket PC and it works beautifully...
Any one know how I could get the Samsung to work right?

There are multiple causes for the Sync_5 error. See

I would try deleting the option to sync on the device (after you have
synchronized), then set it back up.
