Synching to Lotus Notes

Unfortunately I have to use Lotus Notes at work. I've had trouble using
activesync as the conduit and mNotes as the link. Has anyone run through
this scenario? I also need to sync to my home PC running Outlook.

I have recommended on several occasions to use mNotes and everyone has
reported back to me success with it. However I've never personally used it
so I can't speak from first hand experience.

Keep in mind that if you sync with your work and home PCs you will have all
of the contacts/calendar from both PCs on each other as well as your device
(if you leave the sync settings at default).

Hi Tom,

There are more options than mNotes, although mNotes does seem to be one of
the best solutions out there. There are other alternatives (see http://www.modernnomads.info/wiki/in...nd+Lotus+Notes
for a short overview of all options), but it seems that mNotes is one of
the best out there. I have not seen any complaints about it.

I found some info on mNotes stating that I need to use a newer version of
mNotes than the one I first tried and 4.1 on Activesync which I have not
installed on my work PC yet. Wish me luck.

Tom - I use mNotes on my laptop to sync with Lotus Notes and it works fine. I'm
using ActiveSync 4.1 and the only issue I have run into is when I connect to
work using VPN at which point all communication across the ActiveSync connection
ceases. This is because of the integrated statefull firewall that is in the VPN
client. I've not been able to find a way around that one.
