If I understood that correctly, the reason for the problem is because of the
change in the timezone offset during Daylight Savings Time. Well, that would
be fine except for one thing: The change only happens on Outlook, which
means that no matter what time I use I will have a different time on my
Hotmail, Outlook, and PocketPC calendars. Even after I synchronize using the
Outlook Connector Hotmail and Outlook show different times. If I correct
them all separately, then I am restricted from synchronizing. I never liked
Outlook very much, and until somebody tells me a way to synchronize without
needing to check and fix the times of my appointments, I'll have a good
reason why. I was a lot happier back when I was able to use IntelliSync for
MSN, but Microsoft just HAD to force us to do it the hard way through
Outlook and hope that we would use that. NEWSFLASH: I'm not going to make
Outlook my primary calendar or address book or anything else until you make
it as basic as calendars and address books should be. I don't mind having a
thousand different fields available for a contact, I don't mind having a few
extra features available, as long as they are turned off and don't do
anything until I ask them to. If I schedule a meeting for 9:35, I want it to
say 9:35 the next time I see the screen, even if DST does start or end
tonight. When I synchronize, I want the same information to be on both
calendars and address books. These aren't hard concepts, so if any of you
out there are people who design these interface and have one that works this
way, just let me know, and I'll buy it the second I hear about it.
