synchronize with another sus server

I have not been able to sync with another sus server on my network. I get,
"Failed to download from URL 'http://servername/aucatalog1.cab'. (Error
0x80072EFD: Unable to connect to the server.)" I have tried some of the fixes
out there but I don't get anything. The two sus servers are on two different
ip address range. running sus 1.0 sp1. I did try to hit
'http://servername/aucatalog1.cab' via IE and I can download the file but I
don't know why sus won't do it. Any help would be great!
