Synchronizing with Multiple Outlook Accounts

Hello,

Has anyone have any experience how to choose WHICH Outlook account to
synchronize with ActiveSync 4.5? For example if you have your Personal
Folder, a Hotmail account, a OfficeLive account, and other accounts in
Outlook - how do you tell the synchornization which account to synchronize
email, contacts and calendar?

Currently it appears it defaults to the Personal Folder, but that is not
realistic considering folks have different accounts within Outlook. Already
tried setting one account to default, but that didn't seem to work either.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Hi,
The default profile for Outlook is the account that is synchronized. The
default profile is set in the Control Panel - EMail.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the feedback. We did try this and now we're getting the
following error message:

"Cannot synchronize with the Outlook profile you are using, because a
different profile was previously setup. Please open Outlook using the
appropriate profile".

What this sounds like is that when we originally set things up it was using
a different default profile. Now that we changed the profile for synching
it no longer likes it and won't sync. We looked over ActiveSync but didn't
find anything being able to switch things.

Trying to figure out what we have to delete and re-create with the correct
default account in Outlook now.

Thoughts?

Hi,
Did you try deleting the partnership on the device and the PC in ActiveSync?
Then it should allow you to sync with the new default Outlook profile.
