Sync'ing clock in Vista error

Hi...

When I try to synchronize the clock on my computer with a timeserver via the
Control Panel I get an error saying that an error occurred.
Running Atomic Clock Sync yields another error messages saying that there
was no "timedata" available (if my translation is right)
Trying, in ACS, to stop the service, unregister it, re-register it and then
restart it, do not solve the problem.

No matter what time server I choose there is the same error...
What caused this error the error message do not disclose....

I run a fairly modern all updated Vista based self built computer, with no
firewall started, and with an ADSL connection.

What can possibly be wrong?
