Syncing Outlook with Pocket PC

Not sure if this is the right forum but will post anyway...unless someone can
point me to the right forum...

I'm having trouble syncing the Pocket PC's with all of our Manager's
laptops. The issue is that the Pocket PC's won't sync via GPRS or Internet
with Outlook when Outlook cache mode is in use. If I connect the Pocket PC's
directly to the laptop it works OK but not via Internet etc.

Yes, you can't sync modern Pocket PC devices via the Internet with desktop
Outlook; only direct connections to the desktop PC can do this, Bluetooth
and USB. You can sync your Pocket PCs with Exchange over the Internet via
GPRS, and then sync your desktop Outlook data with Exchange, too, resulting
in the same data on both the devices and the desktops.

Sorry...I probably wasn't clear enough...I can sync with Outlook when the
pocket pc's are connected to the laptops directly without any problems. What
I'm trying to do at the moment though is synchronise the pocket pc directly
with exchange via internet or GPRS. This was working ok up until about 2
months ago or there abouts. The only thing that changed around that time is
we enabled https for OWA although I wouldn't have thought it would affect it.

Funnily enough though synchronising with exchange via GPRS on the pocket pc
works but only after you've opened outlook on the desktop and the mail has
come through....
