Groupwise's MAPI client sucks - that's probably the origin of the
problem. Try using IntelliSync (http://www.pumatech.com) or PortaMail
(http://www.quartzdevelopment.com).

Now that I have Groupwise 6.5, my calendar and my inbox will sync via
activesync without any additional software (other than Outlook 2002 or 2003).

However, contacts and notes do not sync even though there is now a notes
folder that synchronizes with the notes of outlook... for whatever reason I
can't get notes to sync from PPC to outlook.

There is no guarantee anything will sync with Groupwise via
ActiveSync. However, Novell has released into beta a PDA sync
solution - see
