Syncronizing between WLM and OE

Here's the situation. Desktop running Vista (soon to be W7) and WLM, old
laptop running XP and OE. Doing a lot of traveling, like to use spare time
on the road cleaning up email files. When the previous desktop was also
running XP and OE, use to copy entire email folder to laptop, work on it
while on the road, and then copy it back upon returning home. No problem. Is
there any way to do this with our present setup? We probably will replace
the laptop in the near future, so the question is really can we copy email
files back and forth with both computers running W7 and WLM?

You are likely to cause all sorts of message database corruption if
you try that approach with Windows Live Mail.
Why not use a synchronizing protocol like IMAP?
You can get a free Gmail IMAP account, and have all your other
emails forwarded there.
