sysfader

Client installed SP2 winxp home; received Dr. Watson error. Removed from
registry; now receive "sysfader: explorer.exe error". No fixes available;
known problem with Microsoft. Any work arounds found to resolve? Tried the
display properties trick; didn't work. Checked for SpyWare and Virus - no
help. Short of a rebuild; any other ideas?

What specifically does that mean?

That symptom has been seen when application crashes occur in NT5x
systems while no debugger is enabled (such as drwtsn32.exe).

To resolve what? To re-enable drwtsn32 Run... (press Win-R and enter

drwtsn32 -i

Describe your problem symptoms before telling us of your difficulties
with your self-prescribed solutions?


BTW this may be more appropriately handled in a newsgroup
which specializes in your OS (which you have neglected to disclose),
although there are indications that it is probably NT5x.
