sysprotect

I have a icon on my desktop as well as the toolbar, called sysprotect. I
don't know where it came from, but it opens a window every time I boot up my
computer saying it's downloading but the bytes show 0, and a timer is
running. I have sent the icon to the recycle bin, and tried to delete the
toolbar icon, with no luck. it won't go anywhere. I have Norton's
antivirus2006, it's not even detecting this problem. Can someone Please Help
me with this?

I had this problem on one of my coputers and googled Sysprotect to get
the solution and resolved the problem.
