System can no longer sleep

For reasons I can't explain, after a BIOS update, I no longer have an option
for the system to go to sleep. It's greyed out. I can hibernate fine.
I've not yet flashed the BIOS back but the BIOS settings have not changed.
Is there somewhere else where I can adjust this other than display
properties? I'm not sure what else I can do.

Thanks

Paul,

Did you actually look at the BIOS settings to confirm that they didn't
change? In BIOS, the sleep mode setting is S3. Did you see that setting?
Even so, it's possible that something, having nothing to do with BIOS, went
awry during the update, and I would have no idea what that could have been.

It's still set as it has been since day 1, the setting of S1&S3 which is the
default. I've not flashed back to the older BIOS as I'm still looking for
answers before I do so.
Thanks for your help.

Open Command Prompt and type

powercfg -a

Press Enter on your keyboard. This reports the available sleep states on
your system, and attempts to report why sleep states are unavailable.

In Control Panel\Power Options, try toggling your selected power plan
(choose a different one, close Power Options, then open Power Options, and
choose the original one).

Very good info. Thanks.
It appears it's a display problem but I've done nothing other than BIOS
updates to change it. I'll reinstall my EVGA Nvidia drivers and see if that
clears it.
Appreciate the help.
