System Error questions about Vista

My computer's been shutting down on me, (blue screens) and I don't
understand what the problem is. I recently had to replace my hard drive
after the first was just busted up, so I'm wondering if anyone knows how
to clear these things up.

Not without a copious amount of information from you - of which you supplied
NONE!

What are you doing when it happens?
How often does it happen?
Can you make it happen at will?
How about posting the verbiage of the error message as a hint for someone to
assist you?
