SYSTEM EVENT ERROR and missing clients in WSUS

Specs: Using WSUS on a 2003 server with SP1. I just did my first inventory
and found a BUNCH of machines missing. I'm trying to figure out why they are
not registering with the server. Computers register through Active Directory.

One of my clients gets the error listed below. Any help with why clients
are not registering and on this particular error would be extremly
apprecaited.

Description:
Unable to Connect: Windows is unable to connect to the automatic updates
service and therefore cannot download and install updates according to the
