Hi Nonny,
You can make a Vista SP1 Slipstream Installation DVD. This tutorial
will show you how to. You can use it to do a repair install with the SP1
installed now to.

You should still be able to run the "sfc /scannow" (no quotes) command
though. It is not affected by having the SP1 installed or not.
