System Hung During SP2 Update for XP Home

My system froze when MF.SYS file was being installed.

My PC runs XP Home Edition. I completed downloading SP2. I then
disconnected my internet connection (this is where I think I went wrong).
The install procedure continued, files were backed up but when it reached
installation of MF.SYS, the system hung.....!

I rebooted the PC, have brought it back to it's prior state (pre-SP2
install). Except that it does not let me continue SP2 installation anymore.
It's referring me to support, troubleshooter, discussions groups, etc.

The history shows 2 type of errors 80200010 and 80072efe. 80200010 is for
the disabled network connection.

Please can anyone give me a workaround.

Thanks

Affy
